Walker Station Chardonnay
We like Chardonnay a certain way, and it takes a certain vineyard to produce it. Planted with a “suitcase” selection of Montrachet; our Walker Station Chardonnay has a timeless style. The well soils limit yield and preserve acidity, and our winemaking approach emphasizes citrus, minerality, freshness and verve. We use a bit of oak to build texture. The wine is anything but shy, but never overdone. It’s eminently yummy and drinkable upon release but rewards a bit of age in the cellar. It pairs broadly with all your favorite white-wine adjacent foods.
