One Fifteen Pinot Noir
First select site, then select root stock, then select clone. That’s how you plant a great Pinot Noir vineyard. Every vineyard we work with has some 115 planted, and this speaks to the clones’ consistency and appeal. While our different sites and rootstocks do yield diverse wines, clone 115 always skews blue-fruited in flavor, with a dense mid-palate and a long soft finish. Neither extravagant nor austere, we wanted to bottle the appeal and consistency we find in the vineyard into our first and only clonal designate wine.
