Wind Horse
Hidden in the cool, foggy hills west of Sebastopol, Wind Horse is an ultra-rare half-acre plot just off Burnside Road. Planted in the early 1970s, it stood as a solitary pioneer in an area that would later become renowned for Pinot Noir. Today, this fiercely independent micro-vineyard has been meticulously restored to preserve its historic roots. The original Martini clone plantings allow us to craft a highly concentrated wine that speaks to the wild, old-vine history of the Russian River Valley.
