Mes Filles
Mes Filles Vineyard perfectly illustrates the extreme micro-climates of the Sebastopol Hills. Though located just moments from the Kanzler Estate, it offers a distinctly different terroir. Planted in 1998, the vines sit atop a steep elevation, facing the direct force of the wind and fog that stream in from the Petaluma Gap. These demanding coastal conditions, paired with highly responsive, quick-draining soils, force the vines to struggle, producing grapes with profound depth and concentration. Sourcing a curated selection of clones from this neighboring gem allows us to showcase the wilder, wind-swept side of our region.
