Walker Station Vineyard Pinot Noir Bottle Shot

2018 Walker Station Vineyard Pinot Noir

Expressive red and dark fruit aromatics with touches of graphite and dried herbs; the palate is concentrated yet balanced, finishing long and mineral.

"Lastly, the 2018 Pinot Noir Walker Station offers lots of redcurrants, Bing cherries, roasted herbs, underbrush, and Asian spice aromas and flavors. A bigger, richer styled effort from this estate, it's medium to full-bodied and has ripe tannins, notable structure, and a great finish."

Introducing

Walker Station

Vineyard owner Harry Walker has grown wine grapes in Napa Valley, Knights Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Lodi since 1968. In 2001 he found an ideal site on an east-facing slope in a cool valley southwest of Forestville in Sonoma County. He planted 3.2 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Now retired, Harry approached us about leasing his vineyard and we leapt at the opportunity to farm this little gem renowned for exquisite fruit. We have exclusive access to the grapes, and we vineyard designate both the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
