"The 2016 Pinot Noir Walker Station has a deep, rich, nicely balanced style as well as terrific purity in its dark currant, plum, and black cherry fruits. Nicely textured, with plenty of floral and spice characteristics, this beauty builds nicely with time in the glass, has ripe tannins, and a great finish. Mostly destemmed and aged 14 months in 50% new French oak, it's an incredibly well made, high-quality Pinot Noir from this team that should keep for upwards of a decade."

Introducing
Walker Station
Vineyard owner Harry Walker has grown wine grapes in Napa Valley, Knights Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Lodi since 1968. In 2001 he found an ideal site on an east-facing slope in a cool valley southwest of Forestville in Sonoma County. He planted 3.2 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Now retired, Harry approached us about leasing his vineyard and we leapt at the opportunity to farm this little gem renowned for exquisite fruit. We have exclusive access to the grapes, and we vineyard designate both the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
