2015 Walker Station Vineyard Pinot Noir

"The 2015 Pinot Noir Walker Station was completely destemmed and spent 14 months in barrel, 60% being new. Cassis, pine forest, sappy herbs, and a touch of minerality define the bouquet, and it's sappy, tight, and juicy on the palate, with a big core of sweet fruit. I love its balance and it's one of the more fruit-centric wines in the lineup. Drink it over the coming 5-7 years."

Introducing
Walker Station
Vineyard owner Harry Walker has grown wine grapes in Napa Valley, Knights Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Lodi since 1968. In 2001 he found an ideal site on an east-facing slope in a cool valley southwest of Forestville in Sonoma County. He planted 3.2 acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Now retired, Harry approached us about leasing his vineyard and we leapt at the opportunity to farm this little gem renowned for exquisite fruit. We have exclusive access to the grapes, and we vineyard designate both the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
